Comfortable Clothes (or not)

• Men and boys would wear pants and shirts made out
  of cotton or buckskin
• Men wore stout boots to protect them from
  snakebites
• Women and girls would wear skirts or dresses made
  of colored cotton called calico or gingham
• Women would where scratchy undergarments

Boom! Weapons

• There are 6 similar and different weapons that
  the travelers carried
• People carried a scythe which is similar to a
  sword to cut grass
• They also had a rifle to protect themselves and
  for hunting

Dangerous Dangers

• Diseases were terrible because there wasnt a lot
  of doctors near
• Wagon axles breaking was terrible because if one
  broke and you couldnt fix it you couldnt move
  on
• Thunderstorms could cause your wagon to go on
  fire

Tons of Food!

• People brought over 1,000 pounds of food
• People brought over 200 pounds of flour
• They brought bacon as meat
• They also brought 25 pounds of sugar
• People brought 30 pounds pilot bread

The Helpful Wagon

• The wagons wheels in the front were bigger than
  the back so it would help driving and going
  through sand
• The wagon was 4ft. by 10ft.
• The wagon was square shaped
• It was supported by axles and if one broke, it
  wouldnt be good
