Personal Statement

• Hello, my name is Nicole Marie Lockard and
  Im freshmen at Dayton High School. I will be
  turning 16 on September 12. Academically I love
  English, Physical Education, and Computer class.
  For extracurricular, I play 4 sports a year and
  Im involved in 2 clubs. I plan to go to college
  after high school and study teaching or Massage
  Therapist.
• My mom and dad are great and support me with
  whatever I do, I have one older brother who is
  attending Eastern Washington University.

Education and Career Plans
I plan on to complete High School with a high
GPA. I will complete all my credits before I
graduate. After I complete my goals for high
school I plan on going to a good four year
college. In college I will study teaching or
massage therapy. I want to go to Colorado
University or Eastern Washington University,
those two colleges are my main colleges to apply
to. After college, my plan is to get a great job
doing my major.

Extracurricular Activities

• For Extracurricular Activities, Im
  participated in 4 sports all year long. My year
  starts off with volleyball, then in the winter
  basketball comes around, then by spring time Im
  playing softball. My favorite sport out of all
  those 4 would have to be basketball. Im also
  involved in 3 clubs 2 relate to Dayton High
  School the other one relates outside of school.
  My school clubs would be FFA other wise known as
  Future Farmers of America , I show sheep, and
  FBLA known as Future Business Leaders of America.
  I love being part of those club because it gets
  me involved and I learn a lot of stuff. 4-H would
  be my club that I do outside of school, Im a
  junior leader for my 4-H group which means I help
  out the younger kids in my group.

Interests and Hobbies

• Some of my many interests are playing
  sports, reading books and magazines. I love
  watching discovery channel and learning about new
  animals. I also love watching scary movies with
  my best friend Kelsy Klingenstien. I also love
  meeting new people and learning more and more
  about different cultures. Traveling would be one
  of my favorite interests.

• My main hobbies would be writing and making
  up long non-fiction stories. I also love to be on
  the computer creating power points or funny
  pictures. Some other of my favorite hobbies would
  be coloring and making other people laugh
  including myself.

My Family

• In my family I have a Mother named Karen
  Lockard and Father Dennis Lockard. They are
  terrific parents, they try to make my dreams up
  true and they support me with whatever I chose to
  do. I have one older brother named Bradley
  Lockard, he is an amazing brother who has been a
  good role-model in my life. He is now attending
  Eastern Washington as a junior. My family and I
  are very close, I love them very much and I would
  do anything to repay them for everything they
  have down for me in my life. My family has been
  behind me during sports, school, and even when it
  comes to friends, and my problems. That is my
  family.

Things Im Looking forward to

• This summer in July I get to spend 2 weeks in
  Japan for the Foreign Exchange program. Im
  really looking forward to learning more about
  their culture and just having the time of my
  life.
• Im also looking forward to going to Alaska
  during the summer.
• I cant wait to turn 16 on September 12th and
  getting my license.
