Title: OpenLinks
1OpenLinks
- Ovids OpenLinks allow sites to create links from
Ovid bibliographic databases to external full
text from publishers and providers - Complements Journals_at_Ovid
- Sites can negotiate external full text
subscriptions, access, and pricing directly with
publishers
2Integration - Openlinks
- OpenLinks to get full text in journals not in the
fully searchable J_at_O - Like Journals_at_Ovid, full text journals accessed
via OpenLinks link from Ovid bibliographic

provided by publishers and other sources from
their sites - Separate negotiations with targets for
subscriptions, access, and pricing.

14OpenLinksTips
- Save your selections as you go, then submit them
at the end. - The links do not appear instantly, but must be
promoted through the Ovid system. - Requests to external providers involve the
targets, not just Ovid. - Questions eusupport_at_ovid.com
