180
ROUND TABLES
  • Fr. McGivneys vision -- to have an ACTIVE
Knights of Columbus presence in every parish.
  • This can be done by establishing a Round Table in
    Non-Host Parishes or Missions.
  • Reasons for a Round Table
  • Some parishes or missions are too small to fully
    support a council.
  • There are two different cultures within one
    parish.
  • Assist the parish or mission Priest.
  • Attract new members.

181
ROUND TABLES
  • To establish a Round Table
  • Choose a Coordinator from that parish.
  • Complete Form 2629 Report of the Round Table
    Coordinator
  • Complete Form 2630 Annual Report of the Knights
of Columbus Round Table -- due by June 30th each
    year.
  • (Both of these reports are included in the Forms
booklet from Supreme Council and can be found on
    the web page.)

182
ROUND TABLES
  • WHAT are the Coordinators duties?
  • Meet regularly with Parish Priest.
  • Convey Priests needs to the Council during
    committee reports.
  • Request the Councils help for the Round Table
    Parish when ever needed.
  • Recruit Knights or parishioners who are ushers,
lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, CCD teachers to
