But before faith came, we were kept in ward
under the law, shut up unto the faith which
should afterwards be revealed. So that the law
is become our tutor to bring us to Christ, that
we might be justified by faith. But now that
faith is come, we are no longer under a tutor.

Matthew 517-18 Think not that I am come to
destroy the law, or the prophets I am not come
to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say
unto, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one
tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till
all be fulfilled.

• 2. also used more freely of the frustration of
  a plan or work, or men as its agents, Ac.

How Did Jesus Fulfill the Law?

• He kept the law perfectly, Jn. 846 Heb. 415

• He offered the justification that the law could

• He fulfilled the purpose of the law, Gal. 319-25
