Edith Frank

• Edith Frank Hollander, who is the mother of the
  family, was born January 16,1900- January
  6,1945.She was the youngest of the four in her
  family. Her father was a successful trader, and
  was prominent in a Aachen Jewish community as
  was his wife. She met Otto Frank on his
  thirty-sixth birthday. A year later she had her
  first daughter named Margot Frank,followed three
  years later was Anne Frank.

Auguste van Pels Rottgen

• Mrs.. Van Pels was born September 29,1900-c. May
  8,1945. She was born in Buer, Germany into a
  lower middle class Jewish household. She married
  Herman van Pels December 5,1925, she had her only
  child Peter on November 8,1926. She and her
  family tried to immigrate to the United
  states,but had failed.The only existing
  photographs of her were taken at Mieps wedding.

Hermann van Pels

• Hermann was born March 31,1898-October 1944. He
  was a German Jewish refugee.He died in the
  Auschwitz death camp one month after he
  arrived.He got married to Auguste on December
  5,1925, and he only had one son who name is
  Peter.He and his sister had to sell a huge loss
  due to Nazi Jewish possession laws. In 1937 He
  and his family had to move to Amsterdam. He was
  close friends with Mr.. Frank, who they went into
  hiding.

Margot Betti Frank

• Margot was born February 16,1926- March 1945.She
  was academically- gifted elder sister of Anne
  Frank. She is the reason why the family went into
  hiding earlier than expected. She was perished in
  the Bergen-Belsen camp. She was named after her
  maternal aunt, Bettina Hollander. She attended
  the Lutwig-Richer School in Frankfurt, Germany.
  Her mother and her sister moved with there
  grandmother in Aachen later following her dad.
  She died of Typhus at the age of nineteen.

Peter van Pels

• Peter was born November 8, 1926-c. May 5, 1945.He
  was German refugee. He was born in at his
  parents apartment, in Germany. He was the only
  child born to his parents. He attended the Jewish
  Lyceum in the same year as Margot Frank, who he
  went into hiding with. He died three days before
  they were liberated. There is no photograph of
  him.
