Introduction
0
  • Hello, we are representatives of The A Squad
corporation. We are here to tell you about the
    E.B.I.S. Program. E.B.I.S. is a disciplinary
program used at Bryan County Middle School
(BCMS). We want to tell you the basics of the
E.B.I.S. Program so that you will know what to do
and what not to do while at BCMS.

3
What does E.B.I.S stand for?
0
  • E- Everybody
  • B- Behaves
  • I- In
  • S- School

4
What is E. B. I. S?
0
  • E.B.I.S is a cooperative industry that triggers
us (the students) to maintain our behavior in a
    correct fashion.
  • We can do this without the shame and
    embarrassment of disciplinary actions.

5
Why?
0
  • The point of the E.B.I.S program is to encourage
us (the students) to control ourselves, not to be
intimidated by peer pressure, and to work hard at
    school to make good grades.
  • Our goal is to help maintain our peers behavior.
In the course of this action, we are trying to
help them choose the appropriate behavior.

6
Potential
0
  • Everyone has the potential to learn and behave in
    a correct manner.
  • Regardless of your background and/or process of
    learning,
  • it is highly important
  • to excel and become a responsible citizen of
    your community.

7
Rules and Expectations of B.C.M.S
0
  • One way to help you succeed the following
expectations is to abide by the Three Rs.
  • R-Respect yourselves
  • R-Respect others
  • R-Respect property

8
Respecting Yourself
0
  • It is important to respect yourself so that you
have high confidence and high self-esteem.
  • In order to respect yourself, you must never put
    yourself down for your mistakes.
  • An example is
  • If you fail a test, learn from your mistakes.
The next time, study a little harder. Dont put
yourself down and think that every time you take
a test, you will do poorly.

9
Respecting Others
0
  • There is a great need to respect others if you
    want them to respect you.
  • Two examples of this are
  • Remain courteous to your fellow students.
  • When using the restrooms, it is expected of
    you to respect their privacy.

10
Respecting Property
0
  • It is important to respect property so that it
    can, and will, last longer.
  • You can respect property by recycling, cleaning
up, picking up trash, and taking care of things.

The 3Rs in all Places
0
12
Following these Rules and.
0
When following these rules you can get points on
your Redskin Registers. If you want these
points, then you have to follow the rules and do
good deeds. If you do so, and your teacher
doesnt see you and another one does, then they
may hand you a slip that says GOTCHA that is
worth 5 points. If you get one, turn it into
your IV Block teacher and he/she will put 5
points on your registers.
13
What are the Points for, you may ask?!
0
  • With these points, you can buy prizes. The more
points you have, the better the prize. You can
save up your points and get better prizes at the
end of the year. These points can help you in
everyway. You may, instead, get a free break, or
a free ice cream pass-- you never know.

14
Consequences
0
  • Consequences are taken into consideration when
    there is misbehavior.
  • E.B.I.S believes we should be positively rewarded
for appropriate behavior rather than punished for
    our negative effects.
  • This means, instead of being brought down or
embarrassed, we should be encouraged to correct
our mistakes and do better next time.

15
0
Infractions
Infractions are the sheets that you have to fill
out when you are caught misbehaving in class. You
can only receive five infractions before you are
sent to the office on an office referral.
16
Final thoughts
0
  • Follow the expectations as a mature middle
    schooler.
  • Strive for your goals in a unique fashion.
  • Maintain your goals by following the Three
    Rs.
  • Study hard and most important..

Have Fun ! ! ! ! !
