2
Objective
  • Enviritech Engineering is intent on providing
alternative energy systems at an affordable
    price.
  • We offer assistance to the installer in the
design, sales and technical backup requirements
as well as providing reliable quality products.
  • Our approach is a holistic one and we aim to meet
the specific requirements of the client, rather
than just offering our product range.

3
Customer Requirements
  • The quality of the products is very high. We have
vetted many systems and realize that the product
    quality is key to success.
  • The product is produced with limited overheads
and priced accordingly. They offer excellent
    value for money.
  • We train all our installers to provide a quality
    service.

Meeting the Needs
  • High Efficiency.
  • Robust construction and reliability.
  • Low cost.
  • Providing simple and effective controls can
    ensure optimal operation.
  • Systems shall be adaptive to suit a wide range
    of applications

5
Heat Pump
  • The heat pump consists of Copeland scroll
compressors and stainless steel plate heat
    exchangers matching the market leaders.
  • The refrigerant is R417a which is a non ozone
depleting gas, pre charged at the factory.
  • Each heat pump is provided with a filter for the
    primary and secondary loop.
  • A remote (wire) controller is also provided which
can allow the heat pump be controlled from within
    the home.

6
Water to water.
  • This is a very cost effective way of heating, its
efficiency is comparable with a direct expansion
system. Without the need to charge the system
with refrigerant or the worry of migrating
    lubricants.
  • It is very reliable as it employs Copeland scroll
compressors. The heat exchangers are stainless
steel and 50 over sized that of our competitors.
Which enables them to withstand poorer water
    quality for longer.
  • The units are priced from 4500 making them the
most competitive unit on the market.
  • The control is derived from standard oil boiler
controls which are readily understood and easily
    incorporated into existing systems.
  • They can be used in many applications such as
combined systems with solid fuel and radiators.

7
How it works
  • For every one kilowatt of electrical energy, the
heat pump takes over 4 kilowatts of heat energy
    from the source.
  • It adds these energies together and inputs them
into the house at a useful temperature.
  • Thus making it over 500 efficient.

9
Frequently asked questions
  • How long is the pay back period? Depending on
application 1.5 to 4 years subject to grant
    approval.
  • How much to drill a well? Well costs typically
    between 1300 and 3000.
  • Can I use an existing well? Yes, provided
    adequate and suitable water supply.
  • Can one well supply both the heat pump and
    domestic water? Yes
  • How much water will be required? 0.5 0.75 l/s
    (400 to 600 gallon/hr)
  • What is a heat pumps expected life? 20 years
  • What warranty is provided? 2 years, additional
    warranty is available
  • Can solar panels be used also? yes they
    complement the system
  • What temperature will my hot water be? 55C or
    above
  • Can it heat radiators? Yes Although not as
efficient as under floor heating, for best
results Radiators should be 30 over sized
  • Can it be used to supplement an existing system?
Yes. Due to lower insulation in existing
buildings, we recommend retaining the existing
    system for the colder days.
  • What if I require more heat than the product can
offer? Special order units are available in
multiples of the standard range and also for
    outdoor applications.
  • Can I reuse the water after the heat pump? Yes,
but not recommended for human consumption.

10
Test results
  • Tests carried out at TNO accredited laboratories
Holland show COP over 5 (efficiencies in excess
    of 500)

11
Cost Benefits
  • These are the most competitive heat pumps on the
    market.
  • 30 deposit is payable on all orders.
  • Standard terms and conditions apply.

12
Advantages
  • Small ground area required.
  • Very efficient over 500.
  • Copeland Scroll compressors ensure high
    efficiency and reliability.
  • Long life expectancy in excess of 20 years.
  • Can avail of cheaper night rate electricity.
  • Can be used for heat recovery.
  • Simple controls, easy to use and integrate into
    other systems.
  • Existing rivers, streams, wells and lakes can be
    employed instead of bored wells.
  • Bore holes are not as expensive as direct
expansion bore hole applications or ground
collectors. (normally in the region of 1,300 to
    3,000).
  • Environmentally friendly employing non ozone
    depleting refrigerant R417a.
  • Can be used as a stand alone or complimentary to
    existing heating system.
  • Lower capital installation costs than many
    other systems.
  • Oversized heat exchangers prolong service
intervals and reduce pump power required.
  • Units are factory charged so there is no
    requirement for a refrigerant Engineer.
  • The units are scaleable to provide any heating or
    cooling demand required.

Other Products and Services
  • Underfloor heating systems.
  • Heating control systems.
  • Solar Panels.
  • Wind turbines.
  • Bespoke alternative and conservative energy
    systems
  • Energy Auditing and Energy labelling.
  • Consultation and Design.

17
Underfloor heating
  • Enviritech Engineering can design and supply full
under floor heating systems. Including Pex pipe ,
    manifolds and full system controls.
  • Our system is contra flow, which allows floors to
heat uniformly preventing cold spots occurring.
It is also designed to increase the efficiency of
    the heating system.
  • Simply send us the floor plan of the building and
we can size the floor loops, pressure drops and
    required flow rates.
