Computer Class Guidelines

Attendance

• Be present and on time.
• Absences require a phone call or note.

Housekeeping

• No hats. Cell phones must be off.
• No food, pop or snacks.
• Keep MP3 players away during lessons.
• Washroom breaks will be limited, and require a
  hall pass.
• At the end of the class, stay at your desk until
  dismissed by your teacher.

Computer Use

• The Acceptable Use Policy will be followed,
  including
• Computer are to be used for educational purposes
  only.
• Chat, downloading, and playing games and
  music/video files are not permitted.
• Students are limited to the use their OWN user
  account only.

Handing in Assignments

• Save files to your Student drive (s). Then copy
  them to your Handin folder on the v drive.
• E-mailed assignments need to be sent from a Yahoo
  account, which includes your full name as the
  sender.

Additional Lab Time

• Room 29 (or the alternate lab in room 9) will be
  open most lunch hours. Room 29 will also be open
  before homeroom in the morning, most days.

Summary Comments

• Computer use is considered a privilege. Violators
  of our computer use policy may find that their
  account has been suspended.
• Show up with a positive attitude, do your work,
  and your efforts will be rewarded!
