Introduction

• The New Coda Shock Absorber Tester is designed to
  quickly and accurately test vehicle shock
  absorbers in a workshop environment without
  dismantling the vehicle.
• Coda Products Pty Ltd is an Australian Automotive
  Diagnostic design and manufacturing company based
  in Newcastle NSW

• The Coda SAT is simply fixed to the vehicle guard
  directly above the centerline of the wheel via
  the magnetic hinge.
• Simply select either the one off test or full
  test function. Full test function will lead you
  around the vehicle and save the test from each
  corner of the vehicle for download into the PC

• Once the test is selected, Test in progress
  appears on screen. You now have 4 seconds to
  perform the test. Place hands on vehicle, around
  supported area to prevent dents and simply push
  down firmly and release.
• The rebound is tested and a pass/fail is
  displayed on screen

• The Pass tested shock is rated as Good Firm for
  between 2 3 rebounds and comfortable with 4
  rebounds.
• The Fail tested shock is rated as Seized for 0
  rebounds, Too hard for 1 rebound, Needs replacing
  for 5 rebounds and Dangerous for greater than 5
  rebounds

• Connect the USB cable to unit and PC to download
  file and graphs
• Save customer details to test and print or email
