Objectives

• SWNT PEG Eggs, highly soluble in water, highly
  purified
• PEG attachment covalently to side wall of swnt,
• or in a covalently linked sheath (bright swnt
  NIR fluorescence)
• specific swnt diameter ( id. 0.3 to 2.0 nm )
• specified swnt length ( 10 to 1000 nm)
• specified swnt band gap ( 0, or 0.5 to 1.4 eV)
• specified internal contents ( I, lanthanide,
  actinide, etc.)
• specified targeting molecules attached to PEG
• optional fluorescent tags attached to or
  imbedded in PEG
• specified end functionalization
• High bioavailability, biocompatability,
  targetability
• and final clearance from the body regardless of
  tube contents
