KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Jack Williams Vice President Engineering,
ExxonMobil Mr. Williams joined ExxonMobil as a
drilling engineer in April 1987 after graduating
from Vanderbilt University. He has held various
technical, supervisory, planning, and management
positions. In May 2007, Mr. Williams became Vice
President of Engineering for ExxonMobil
Production Company. Mr. Williams is a member of
SPE. He is married with three children.

Darryl Blackburn Darryl of Houston plans to
attend the University of Oklahoma to study
petroleum engineering after he graduates from
Booker T. Washington High School. Darryl is
active with the National Society of Black
Engineers and serves as president of the Gents
Community Service Organization. He is an Eagle
Scout and was chosen to travel to Israel as part
of the Mickey Leland Kibbutzim Internship program.

Chase Horne Chase of Bay City plans to attend
Texas AM University to pursue a degree in
petroleum engineering after graduating from Bay
City High School. Chase is active in the
National Honor Society and National Technical
Honor Society. He also works at a local recycling
center and performs community service for the
Edith Armstrong Center.

Rebecca Walker Rebecca of Conroe will attend
Texas AM University to study petroleum
engineering after graduating from the Conroe High
School Academy of Science and Health Professions.
Rebecca is captain of the basketball team. She
also served as secretary for her schools
National Honor Society and Student Union. She
works for Texas Childrens Pediatric Associates
and has helped on several mission trips to Mexico.

Lauren Whisenant Lauren is graduating from Klein
Collins High School in Spring and will continue
her education at Texas AM University where she
will study petroleum engineering. Lauren is on
leadership committees for several clubs such as

She has worked as a student employee for Anadarko
since last November.

Kerri Anderson Kerri is graduating from Klein
Collins High School in Spring and plans on
attending the University of Texas Austin to
study petroleum engineering. Kerri served as
editor-in-chief of her schools yearbook and is
active in student council. She also volunteers
for Northwest Assistance Ministries and the
Junior Guild. Kerri has an internship with
Anadarko this summer.

Robert Baigrie A future studying petroleum
engineering at Texas Tech University awaits
Robert of Nassau Bay when he graduates from
Lutheran South Academy. Robert is captain of the
varsity football team and has been very involved
with Model United Nations. Fluent in Spanish, he
spent two summers working as a translator at
Terminal 4 in Buenos Aires. Robert is working
for Maersk Oil and Gas this summer.

Stephanie Bruse After graduating as the
valedictorian of Deer Park High School, Stephanie
of Pasadena will attend Vanderbilt University to
study chemical engineering. Stephanie is on the
leadership committees of the Biology Club and
Chemistry Club. She works as the childcare
coordinator of her church and has participated in
several mission trips. Stephanie also volunteers
for Pasadena Pet Adoption.

president of the Mexican American Engineering
Society and is a on the varsity soccer team.

summer.

Rachel Cramer Rachel is graduating from Cinco
Ranch High School in Katy and plans on attending
Texas AM University to study petroleum
engineering. Rachel is passionate about dancing
and works as a teaching assistant at a local
ballet school. She volunteers for YMCA and the
Sugar Land Methodist Hospital. Rachel has an
internship with BP this summer.

Ryan Farrell Ryan of Houston is graduating from
Jersey Village High School and plans to study
petroleum engineering at the University of Texas
Austin. Ryan plays the french horn in the band
and served as a squad leader his senior year. He
participated in Spanish Club and earned a bronze
medal in the Science Olympiad. He is an active
Eagle Scout. Ryan is working for BP this summer.

for the Key Club. Jeremy has spent a summer
working for BJ Services and will spend this
summer as an intern for Chevron.

Brady has an internship with Chevron this summer.

work for Altus Well Experts this summer.

Susan Lambert Susan of The Woodlands is

University of Oklahoma. Susan serves as an

the piano and clarinet.

Grady Meloy Grady of Spring is headed to Texas

after he graduates from Concordia Lutheran High
School. Grady participated in a summer
engineering program at AM that challenged the
students with designing a bridge. Grady plays
volleyball, basketball, soccer, track, and is
also an Eagle Scout. He will be working for
Anadarko this summer.

Carson Noble After graduating from Klein High
School, Carson plans to study petroleum
engineering at Texas AM University. Carson has
lettered four years as a varsity swim team member
and performs at the top level in band being named
an all-area and all-regional section leader. He
volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and
participated in a mission trip to rebuild areas
of the Gulf Coast.
