• Network requirement An essential network for
  providing information for marine warnings and
  forecasts. Important input to Numerical Weather
  Prediction.
• Primary stakeholders Marine community, Canadian
  Coast Guard, commercial navigation sector,
  international community and in particular the
  United States.
• Current network 46 moored, 20 drifting buoys
  and 6 ice beacons.
