How to make an interesting composition

• Overlapping can be a good way to organise objects
  into interesting arrangements
• The size of the objects. Draw a range of
  different sizes (large, medium and small)
• Where they are placed on the paper (top, middle,
  bottom or at the side)
• Use of colour (stick to a maximum of 5 colours)
• Attention to detail. Look carefully - dont miss
  bits out!
• Consider foreground, middle ground and background
  where appropriate.
