  • Include foods such as rice, bread and pasta
  • Whole Grains are Best
  • Provide the body with important carbohydrates and
    fiber

Vegetables
  • Provide essential vitamins, minerals and
    antioxidants that are important to the body
  • Different Vegetable provide different nutrients!
  • Eat a Variety

Fruits
  • Just like vegetables fruits are full of vitamins
    and minerals that are important to your body
  • Try to avoid sugary fruit juices or canned fruits
    frozen in syrup
  • Fruits are best eaten whole

Milk and Dairy
  • Provide calcium which helps build strong bones
    and teeth that will last a lifetime
  • Contain other nutrients such as B vitamins, A, D,
    and proteins

  • Provide Proteins, Vitamins, and Minerals such as
    iron and zinc
  • Lean Meats are Best
  • Try to avoid saturated Fats
