Where Plateau People Live

• Well, the Plateau People lived on the Columbia
  Mountains.
• It is east of the Cascade Mountains.

• The climate is dry on the Plateau.
• There is extreme weathers.
• It is sunny in the summer.
• It is also continental.

• It is very grassy.
• There is plants like tule rush, camas, and sage
  brush.
• The tree they have is the Yucca

Types of Houses

• There are pit houses that are five inches
  underground and there was fires in the middle to
  keep the house warm.
• There was also teepees and long houses and they
  both had fires in the middle to keep the house
  warm.

• First, they have nuts and berries.
• They also eat salmon but on rare occasions.
• Plateau People eat meat too, some examples are
  buffalo, deer, rabbits, mountain goats, sheep,
  and birds.

• There is few ways to transport, but one way is to
  take a horse.
• Or you can walk place to place.

• They also used rocks for tools.
• Some people used trees for houses.
• Plateau People used salmon and buffalo for food.

  liquid in there mouth.

  Spokane, and Wenatchee.
• Some more are Coer d Alene, Nez pierce, Wishram,
  and Kittitas.

• We can turn off water when where not using it.

• Bike to work instead of driving to work.
