  • Dear members,
  • Nice to finally have our first news letter
    issued. On behalf of the Board I would like to
    welcome new members and we indeed are very
    excited of having you aboard. We have many
    things to share and many ideas to accomplish in
    the near future.
  • So, welcome to Aila Kalevi Nieminen, family
    Jokinen (Johanna, Sami, Jasmin, Jesse), the
    sisters Maria Ruottu (speaking fluent Indonesian)
    Katia Enbuske (owner of Etnofitness/Etno
    House), Saori Anttonen.
  • In this edition, you will see some activities
    that our Nusantara is going to take part
    organize. We are very excited to having them and
    our infant organization is definitely getting
    more and more active as well as more and more
    known ?. Big thanks for all the Board members,
    members and volunteers who have contributed
    endlessly in many of the activities we have
    organized.
  • For the next edition (March 2004), we welcome any
    articles from members, it could be anecdotes,
    small story, small info on your family or holiday
    trip plus picture, and some cross cultural
    experience on Asia in general Indonesia in
    particular.

costume headdress exhibition at the
gallery. - 28 May (Friday). Starting at 18.00.
Indonesian Cultural Night. Entrance ticket
5, Indonesian dinner 10. Special high
light a play of Roro Jonggrang, the
princess of thousand statues (the legend of
Prambanan temple in Java). - 29 May
(Saturday) 30 May (Sunday). From 11.00
18.00. Indonesian Food Handicraft Bazaar.
Ticket 5 incl. tea/coffee. Children program
with Marjut Piili learn to dance and story
telling (Indonesian animal and folk story).
During the day there will be some
entertainment (disco dangdut learn to Dance
Poco-poco with Cynthia, Nusantara Youth and
Yetty Jusuf). - 31 May (Monday) 1 June
