• Speakers drawn primarily from the IPOs
  Operational Algorithm Teams (OATs)
• OATs are the primary source of science advice to
  the IPO
• Sensor design, calibration characterization
• Algorithms
• Focus is on operational use but strong links to
  climate research
• Tremendous help input from the NGST/Raytheon
  staff that have been refining testing the
  algorithms
• Focus today is on the data products and not on
  the sensors
