• Objective To create transmitting and receiving
  circuitry for a Micro-Sonar system
• Background Transducers send and receive pulses
  and detect particles in fluids

• Approach Methodology
• Transmitting Circuitry Used an RC oscillator,
  MOSFET, and a buffer in order to produce a pulsed
  signal
• Receiving Circuitry Used a charge amplifier with
  coupling capacitor, a full wave rectifier, and a
  threshold detector in order to detect reflections
  of the transmitted pulse off of particles

• Conclusion We have designed the transmitting and
  receiving circuitry for the Micro-Sonar system.
  The next group will take that circuitry and test
  it with the transducers in order to see if our
  circuitry works correctly.
