  • Three Illinois firms accompanied the
    OTI staff to Spain in a
  • broad based trade mission, covering
    different sectors of
  • industry. Companies attended
    seminars, factory tours, and face-
  • to-face meeting with matched
    companies. The OTI staff held
  • FDI seminars, introducing foreign
    investors to the commercial
  • opportunities that await in
    Illinois.

  • Six Illinois small to medium sized
    firms, in the food and
  • processing industry, accompanied the
    OTI staff to Germany and
  • Italy for seminars and face-to-face
    meeting with firms from
  • Europe in the same industry, All
    firms who attended rated their
  • their experience as very satisfying
    and a reported 97 leads were
  • obtained between the six companies.
