Brief Overview of the ETOPS Policy

• The US Airways ETOPS Policies and Procedures are
  designed to
• Make certain that US Airways aircraft are not
  dispatched into ETOPS unless the requirements for
  ETOPS capability have been met.
• That all personnel performing maintenance on
  ETOPS aircraft are properly qualified and
  authorized.
• Ensure that a process for verification of
  maintenance actions taken on an ETOPS Significant
  System (s) exists.
• Make sure that there is a recurring audit program
  to ensure compliance with the US Airways ETOPS
  Policy.
