to produce the following products

Responsibilities

• Ordering all raw materials necessary to produce
  products.
• Assemble/produce products.
• Quality control testing.
• Packaging
• Send to shipping and receiving department.

Ordering Raw Materials

• Contacting suppliers
• Negotiating prices
• Ensuring arrival of materials (When do we need
  it? How much do we need?)
• Manufacture Products
• Work with human resources to provide appropriate
  labor force.
• Within PetPro, ensure a smooth transition between
  production of different products.

Quality Assurance Packaging

• Work with the quality control and testing
  department.
• Enforce PetPro policy to code all products with
  production and best before dates.
• Send to Shipping and Receiving
• Account for all products being shipped.
• Contact shipping and receiving.
• Follow-up (Did they receive everything we
  intended them to?)

To conclude

• Within the role of manufacturing nutriVAL,
  perForm and PROTECT pet foods come the
  responsibility of ordering raw materials,
  manufacturing products, quality control,
  packaging and shipping. The manufacturing
  department within petPro must work in close
  contact with other departments in order to ensure
  goal congruency.
