- The Saul and Dayee G. Haas Foundation is
committed to improving the quality of life among
needy secondary students in communities
throughout the State of Washington, by supporting
schools to encourage students to stay in school,
return to school or get involved within their
learning community.

11Assumptions
- School will disburse funds to secondary students
in need immediately. - (no extra applications or
forms are required) - With each disbursement, the Haas school team
enters each student record details at the time of
disbursement, not later. - All grantees agree to submit online year-end
report May 1st to June 30. - Grants are for the school and not school
districts - No funding is ever provided directly to a child
or parent. - Haas Funds are not for family members.

- 18-member group (2 per ESD)
- Acts as an advisory committee to the foundation
- Helps raise awareness of the foundation in their
respective ESD areas - Helps the foundation to raise more fund
- Still need 1 more HEAP member from ESDs 101,
112 and 2 members from ESD 114, 113.
15HEAP Commitment is as follows
- Willingness to meet twice a year in Seattle (May
and October) - Let us know the details by notifying us at
bhilory_at_haasfoundation.org - Be involved in raising funding to help fund
schools - HEAP members meet with the Haas Foundation Board
of Directors twice a year May Fall (Nov 6th
this year)

you have already helped the student - Answer the question on the Stop page
- Wait for an e-mail approval from the foundation
- After you have received approval, go ahead and
help the student - No need to re-enter your disbursement. If the
amount changes, just highlight and correct that
part on the summary review page. - You may call the foundation office first if you
have unique circumstances or other questions
