• Likely to sit in the HNC

• Technician Course
• Comprising 2 - 3 units at (SCQF 8)
• Likely to sit in the HND
• Available June 2007
• IBM to supply 10 customers to be involved in the
  design process

• Being adapted to suit college students
• Materials free to participating colleges
• No cost of entry for participating centre
• Lecturer needed to attend CPD
• Lecturer needed to pass exam
• Exam costs around 25
• One exam for Operator Course
• One exam for Technician Course

• Qualification Delivery
• Approx 5 Colleges around Scotland
• Currently have 3 centres recording interest
• Currently 4 individuals recording interest
• QDT required and looking for 3 4 individuals
  from participating centres to be involved
• Individuals who have broad based skills from OS
  and hardware to DB management, most importantly
  openness to new ideas
• Trainer-of-trainers Workshop scheduled for the
  11.06.07 15.06.07
