6Global Distributed Centers Model
7ACCESS, MSCMC and the AccessGrid
Model Example
- AccessGrid enables group to group collaboration
and communications
- An ACCESS Centers model offers a Virginia-wide
system of Centers connected by a high speed
network to deliver collaborative government
sessions, meetings and events. - When not scheduled by the Government for
meetings and events these Centers can be used
for educational (K-12) activities to bridge the
Digital Divide. - These Centers can also be used in times of
Crisis Management to facilitate Emergency
Responselike the TOPOFF exerciseillustrated.
