Quién es? Who is it?
  • To ask who someone is, say Quién es?
  • You can add to the question too.
  • Examples
  • Quién es el chico? ? Who is the boy?
  • Quién es Rosanna?? Who is Rosanna?
  • To answer
  • El chico se llama Carlos. El chico es el
    estudiante nuevo.
  • Rosanna es la estudiante con la mochila. Rosanna
    es la estudiante nueva.

  • Feminine nouns usually end with a.
  • They use the articles la the and una a, an
  • Nouns that end with cion, -sion, -dad are
    usually feminine and use the feminine articles.

  • For words that end with other letters, you must
    learn them with their article to determine if the
    word is feminine or masculine.
