Aims and objectives

• To be a co-ordinating hub for a UK OER Alliance
  that achieves greater impact through network
  effects
• Offers short term Fellowships for HEI staff and
  leading OER projects at both policy and practice
  level
• Running workshops, seminars and mentoring
  services along with JISC and HEAs to support
  other project staff
• Helping to co-ordinate the publication of OERs
  that meet established needs
• Using OpenLearn as an outlet for managing and
  using educational resources, supporting teaching,
  learning and research activities.

Current activities

• Letter questionnaire being sent to all English
  and National Universities VC PVC Learning
  Teaching telling them about SCORE gauging level
  of OER interest
• Developing the SCORE community website
• Production of 75 hours of OER on Climate Change
  in preparation for the COP15 Conference in
  Copenhagen, 25 hours of Aim Higher Language
  content
• Setting up Fellowship programme contact Andy

• Mapping across OU OER projects with HEI, HEA,
  JISC, HEFCE links.
• Planning workshops, seminars, support sessions
