Adding NERC Functionality
  • If you do not see a PSE code on your account
    profile, WREGIS WILL NOT be pulling your NERC
    e-tags (tags can only be pulled going forward)
  • If your NERC e-tags are not properly filled out
    by your schedulers, WREGIS WILL NOT be pulling
    your NERC e-tags
  • Required format
  • Misc(Token/Value)

Retirement Process
  • In order to utilize NERC e-tags, you must retire
    RECs for state or provincial compliance
  • Check with the state or provincial Program
    Administrator for instructions on what to name
    your retirement account to be used for compliance

    State/Province RPS Compliance Period Reason
    Get Tags pop-up window

Retirement Process
  • Retirement Reasons
  • In-State/Province Power Purchase No NERC Tags
    are required. System will check to see that RECs
    selected come from the same state location as the
    state selected for compliance.
  • Out-of-State/Province Power Purchase NERC Tags
    are required. System will do a location check to
    verify. Tag quantity selected should cover the
    RECs quantity for retirement
  • NERC E-Tag Not Required for Compliance Not
    Required bypasses all checks above.

Accessing NERC E-Tag Summary Report

NERC E-Tag Summary Report can be accessed from
Account Holder Reports Module

NERC E-Tag Summary Report
  • NERC E-Tag Summary Report shows all uploaded
    NERC E-Tags for the Accounts PSE number(s). The
    report can be sorted by Load Control Area.

NERC E-Tag Detail
  • NERC E-Tag ID Detail shows retired RECs
    associated with NERC E-Tags.
