TAM Vocabulary

• Assessments Terms used in TAM for student
  assignments. Assessments are instructional and
  attached by the teacher to an assessment type
  from a list created by the LEA. Teachers cannot
  change the assessment types.
• Assessment gtgt Assignment These terms are
  interchangeable.
• Assessment Types Activities given to students
  for which a grade will be taken. Example
  Homework, Quiz, Test, etc.
• Prep A set of grading rules for a common class
  or subject.

the correct settings for your Gradebook. Once
the settings are saved you CANNOT CHANGE THE
GRADEBOOK SETTINGS during the grading period!

These settings determine how TAM calculates
grades. Use Assessment Type Weights Allows the
option of weighting assessment types. Check this
box if you are using Percentage Style Grading.
Review the My Options Screen. Make sure you have
the correct settings for your Gradebook. Once
the settings are saved you CANNOT CHANGE THE
GRADEBOOK SETTINGS during the grading period!

  name your Prep Academic.
• If you are creating MORE that one Prep then CCS
  recommends you name your Prep based on the class
  or classes that will be assigned to the Prep.
• For example Subject area (Science, Math,
  English, etc.).

Review the My Prep Screen. Make sure you have the
correct settings for your Gradebook. Once the
