Objectives

• This project allows students to compare the
  nutritional content of various commercially made
  muffins.
• It also enables students to determine which
  muffins are the most nutritious and why.

Activity Which is the best muffin?

• In groups of two, students will choose three
  different muffins from three different sources
• Students will compare the nutritional content of
  each type of muffin
• Students will use graphs and charts to illustrate
  their findings
• Students will use their findings to write a
  conclusion about which muffin they feel is the
  most nutritious and why.

• Mmmmuffins
• McDonalds Our Menu

• Using the information obtained from the websites
  complete the chart and create a graph.
• Use the information you have obtained to conclude
  which muffin is the most nutritious and why.
