Types of Data

• Quantitative
• Data that uses numbers to give it value or
  meaning
• Ex. Your age
• Qualitative
• Data that doesnt use a number to give it value
  or meaning
• Ex. Favorite Stuffed Animal

• Line Graph
• Used to show change over time

• Double-Bar Graph
• Used to compare two sets of related data

• Frequency Plots
• Used to show the number of times a certain piece
  of data occurs

• Stem-and-Leaf Plot
• display that organizes data to show its shape and
  distribution.

• A type of bar graph that has no spaces between
  the bars.
• Used to show frequency of data
