Rid the Desire to Date
Are you tired of jumping through hoops in hopes
of attaining a romantic relationship or even
attaining a simple date for a night out on the
town?
Do you sometimes wonder why you even try
anymore? In this lesson, you will learn three
practices of rejection and how to use them in
ways that will help demolish all forms of hope in
finding a mate. These practices can free you
from the desire to ever try to get a date again.
Lets get started with our coach and rejection
expert, Dr. Jake R. Hathoway.

Rid the Desire to Date
Rejection expert Dr. Jake R. Hathoway will model
for you, and coach you to use, his Three
Practices of Rejection that can be utilized
during your lunch break and after work. These
practices are to be utilized at least three times
a day for two weeks in order to reach your goal
of squandering your self-esteem and wiping out
hope. Click his photo to read more about him and
his practices and get started.
In the next few minutes, you will be able to
have the Three Practices of Rejection modeled for
you. Afterwards, Dr. Hathoway will coach and
guide you through simulations so you can begin
practicing these techniques on your own. There
are three rules you must follow when using the
three practices. 1. Do not insult anyone. No name
calling, nastiness, rudeness, etc. 2. If a woman
tells you to go away or leave her alone in any
way, you must immediately comply. This also
means no scaring or harrassing of any kind. 3. Do
not touch anyone at all. Even if her boyfriend
assaults you, you do not fight back. Remember,
your goal is total self-esteem annihilation. Hes
doing you a favor.
The Three Practices

Rid the Desire to Date
Practice of Rejection 1 Approach waitresses and
bartenders.
If there is one population of women in the world
that are usually tired of the average male
pursuing them, its bartenders and waitresses.
Try to start pursuing her when she is really
busy. Be a needy customer that has her running
all over for you. Ask for her phone number. If
she avoids the request, keep asking or say things
like, I know youll be including your phone
number on my bill, right? The young ladies
facial expression in the photograph to the left
says, I wish you would drop dead. Thats the
reaction youre going for. Leave a good tip as
you have been a total pain. If she rejects you
well, leave an awesome tip. She helped you.

Rid the Desire to Date
Practice of Rejection 2 Try to start a
conversation with a woman while she is busy on a
cell phone.
The stressed out business woman is a classic
target. You have to make sure she is in a deep
conversation and her attention is focused on the
phone call. This requires you to act as if she
is fully engaged in your conversation. Sit next
to her and talk really loudly so you disrupt her
conversation. When she signals to you that she is
talking on the phone, stop talking for a minute
or so and then continue blathering on and on
about nothing of importance. Repeat this process
each time she shushes you. Remember, if she
tells you to leave, you must comply. You got your
rejection.

Practice of Rejection 3 Read facial expressions.
If your eyes meet with a womans and she looks
away or is even to the point of hiding her face
like the woman to the left, you are in go
town. The key here is to remind yourself of
your goal. Your natural instinct will take over
and your mind will tell you to flee at such
exaggerated signs of disapproval. Keep focused on
your goal of total self-esteem annihilation. Walk
on over, sit right down uninvited, and start
talking about yourself. Particularly, something
totally unimportant such as what your favorite
color is, how much deodorant you use, your
favorite flavor of Gatorade, etc. Always keep
the rules in mind!

Now that Dr. Hathoway has modeled and explained
what to do, we are going to practice some
simulations. Dr. Hathoway will be there to coach
you as there may be some specifics you are not
aware of. Lets do it!
Simulation 1 Approach a waitress for a
date. Instructions If you select an incorrect
answer, Dr. Hathoway will appear with some
coaching. Click his photo to make him disappear
before you try your next selection. Out of the
following three waitresses, click on the photo of
the one that should be approached for maximum
rejection.
Women who work in establishments like Hooters
are pros at letting men down easy. Hint When
you apply at hooters, you are expecting to be hit
on.
Mind your manners! Women are here to help you.
Reminder This could easily end up being a
violation of Rule 2 from Slide 3.
Bingo! Shes busy at a trendy place. Studly men
are everywhere. Youll be compared to guys you
could never compete with. Dont be surprised if
she laughs in your face.

Simulation 2 Start a conversation with a woman
on a cell phone.. Instructions If you select an
incorrect answer, Dr. Hathoway will appear with
some coaching. Click his photo to make him
disappear before you try your next
selection. Out of the following three females,
click on the photo of the one that should be
approached for maximum rejection.
This one is a little vague. It looks like her
attention might be diverted towards you.
Reminder Go to Slide 5 to remember where her
attention should be.
Good choice. She is quite involved in this
conversation. Plop yourself down on the grass as
if you were invited. Youll be sitting alone in
no time.
Do you want to add another phone number to your
stockpile of females that never call you back,
let alone remember you? Reminder What is your
goal? Slides 3 and 6 can help you.

Simulation 3 Read facial expressions. Instructio
ns If you select an incorrect answer, Dr.
Hathoway will appear with some coaching. Click
his photo to make him disappear before you try
your next selection. Out of the following three
females, click on the photo of the one that
should be approached for maximum rejection.
You want a female who looks like she doesnt
want to talk to you. This one looks like she
witnessed a horrible accident. Hint Rule 2 on
Slide 3.
Good choice. This is the look that says, You
make me sick! Dont be surprised if she tells
you to get lost before you can even sit down.
Too risky. She may be the nervous type or
something awful is going on. Its hard to say.
Hint A face that is hard to read can turn into a
situation in which you violate Rule 2.

You have the theories, you have had Dr. Hathoway
model what is needed, and you have been coached
by Dr. Hathoway as well. Now its time to get
down to business!
Your next steps are to practice out in the field.
Attached to this slide is Dr. Hathoways Three
Practices of Rejection Progress Template. This
will help you keep track of the practices you
use, how effective they were, and what you can do
to improve.
We also encourage you to extend your education
and go to our message board located at
http//www.practicesofrejection.org. Articulate
with others what has been working for you and
what has not. This is a great place to learn from
people who are working hard to rid the desire to
date just like you!
