• Valencia Local Police belongs to Valencia City
  Council, so we are a Local Public Administration.

REASONS FOR INVOLVEMENT (I)

• Valencia Local Police has many reasons to join
  POL-PRIMETT
• To develop innovative strategies is a necessary
  target in order to implement our main strategy to
  be a Preventive Police, not only a Reactive
  Police.

• We have obtained valuable experiences and results
  from projects in which we have been involved.
• We have expertise as project managers, as
  leaders and partners, and our large experience
  has demonstrate that results of European networks
  are really useful and profitable.

• Metal Theft is a relevant problem for our
  citizens, companies and Public Administrations.
• It creates not only troubles and setbacks for
  their activities but serious economic problems
  and supply failures.

• Current Projects
• We are finishing the settlement of Webpol
  Project, which has been leaded by us.
• The main result has been the development and
  implementation of a virtual training environment
  for police officers.
• We have been awarded for the successful results
  obtained.

• We are working on the Project Innovative
  Strategies for Preventing Re-offending.
• Our main task is to make a research regarding
  re-offending among youth and to give advice to
  our partners in order to implement a pilot
  experience.
