A Bird is

• An animal with wings, a beak, and no teeth.
• It is the only animal with feathers.
• An animal that can fly, some can run very well,
  some swim, and some do both of these.
• Some birds CANNOT fly.

What do Birds Do?

• Birds spend most of their time looking for food.
• They use their beaks to dig for bugs and worms.
• Birds lay eggs
• They build nests in trees, cliffs or on the
  ground.
