• Although prostitution is illegal in Bosnia there
  are 260 bars and brothels that offer playthings
  for international soldiers and staff

• Oklenka was a sex slave in Bosnia where she was
  forced to have sex with 8 to 15 men a night
• She was bought as a birthday present for a whole
  platoon of peacekeepers and had to pretend that
  everything was fine and this is what she wanted
• American, Canadian, British, Russian, French,
  Local Police, and many UN officers were her
  clients in the bar
• She once asked if she could use and officers
  phone that was hanging from his belt to make 1
  phone call. This resulted in her being beaten and
  left in a cellar for 3 days without food
• When the bar was finally raided she was arrested
  and recognized many of the men as her clients

• The sex trade is Bosnia largely exist because of
  the UN peacekeeping operation
• The UN practices a policy of out of sight out
  of mind
• Pimps claim that UN officers and cops want
  payment to keep quiet or they will raid bars and
  homes
• This is access to free females for sex for the
  UN officers and cops
• Many women dont ask peacekeepers for help
  because they dont trust them
