• Let media know you are always available for
  comment.
• Learn to be comfortable with phone interviews.
• Always return phone calls.
• Have statistics ready - journalists love them!

• Promote your destination first, your product
  second, and yourself last.
• Avoid asking for questions in advance.
• Have designated spokespeople who can talk.
• When possible, rely on in-house PR resources.
