French airport growth 2008
  • In 2008 non-Paris airport traffic grew about 2.4
    to almost 60 million (Source www.aeroport.fr)

Conclusions
  • Not all LCCs are still growing
  • Many new routes from biggest LCCs are being
    launched at very low frequency (less than daily)
  • easyJet and Ryanair account for over 50 of all
    new short-haul routes started in France in last
    12 months
  • Venturing further into domestic routes
  • Paris accounts for only 30 of new short-haul
    routes
