Facts about Malavi Primary

• There are over 1,100 pupils in Malavi Primary-
  544 girls and 567 boys.
• There are only 13 teachers so each teacher would
  have to teach 86 pupils each.
• Each child only has one jotter and if they lose
  it there are no spares.
• Every morning they walk 2-6 miles in their bare
  feet!!!!

Marys meals

• Marys meals is a programme used all over the
  world.
• It helps children concentrate and pass their
  exams. It delivers a meal a day, it only costs
  5.30 to feed one child for a whole school year.

Malawi.

• Malawi schools are not the only ones in the
  world that receive Mary's meals. Schools in
  Asia, eastern Europe, South America and Africa
  also receive Marys Meals.
• There are over one million orphans in Malawi.

Africa day

• P.7 are having a coffee morning to raise money
  for Marys Meals to feed every child in Malavi
  Primary for a whole school year.
• There will be home made crafts from our art team.
• We have food from Africa such as coconut
  biscuits, we have fair trade chocolate and juice
  for children and for the adults we have Fair
  Trade tea and coffee. We have also made friezes
  to show you our work about Malawi.

  we can change more children's lives. Feel free to
  ask us about our work.
