Update List

• Each node has a listening UDP and a listening TCP
  port.
• Server sends a UDP message (RETR LIST) on the
  network
• Clients listen to this on the listening UDP port
• Clients connect to the listening TCP port of
  sever to transfer the list of shared files (RECV
  LIST)

Update List

• This list of files is shown on the server along
  with clients IP address.
• May choose to save this list
• Perform offline search on this list
• Retrieve any of these files

Retrieve the Required File

• Server sends a TCP request to the listening TCP
  port of client (RETR FILE)
• Client then sends the file on the listening TCP
  port of server (RECV FILE)
