• The Midwest has a lot of underground water which
  is a a aquifer.
• Part of the Midwest is in Tornado alley so they
  have a lot of tornados. You will learn more about
  tornados on the next slide.

WEATHER

• Tornados are powerful winds that can go up to 250
  miles per hour!It is made of warm, moist air and
  cold, dry air.
• The Midwest is warm in the summer and very cold
  in the winter.

PEOPLE

• In the Midwest there are a lot of Farmers to take
  care of the animals that give us meat and provide
  milk and grow the fields to give us veggies.
• There are people who cut trees and send them down
  the Mississippi.

• Some industries they have are the Minneapolis
  Grain Exchange, mining places and farms.
• Some resources are corn, wheat, beans, and trees
