  • ICD-9 Coding
  • Poisoning by opiates and related narcotics
  • Accidental poisoning by opiates and related
    narcotics
  • Adverse effects of opiates in therapeutic use
  • Excludes diagnoses attributed to heroin use
  • Excludes diagnoses identified as suicide
