Hints/Tips

• Use PPA time effectively.
• Dont use NQT time as PPA time Remember you
  only get it once.
• Start reports early.
• Organisation try and have all resources ready
  at the start of each day.
• Peer marking.

• Have an outside interest - not school related.
• Make time for yourself.
• Accept that you cannot do everything!
• Go on the NQT residential.

Time Management

• You could spend 24/7 on this job dont!
• Have at least 1 day a week away from the job.
• Use resources already available when possible
  root through those cupboards.
• Dont try and re-invent the wheel the internet
  is amazing!
• Dont plan too far ahead.

Behaviour management

• Set high expectations from the start.
• Positive behaviour strategies really do work.
• Dont be afraid to ask for help.
• Stick to your guns even when the tears arrive.
• They will still love you tomorrow.
