Aggie REPS FALL KICKOFF 2007
Thanks to all of those who attended. We had a
great event this year with over 315 people in
attendance. Book scholarships and many door
prizes were given to students attending. The
Academic Bowl team was recognized for winning the
National Championship for the second year in a
row. Sponsors, former faculty, new faculty, and
many other special guests were recognized for
their support to the Department. Students were
presented with information regarding the many
opportunities to get involved in student
organizations within the Department. Jim Olson,
the guest speaker, gave a very interesting and
intriguing speech on his 31 years of service in
the CIA. Your support to the Agricultural
Economics Department is greatly appreciated and
we wish you all the best throughout the upcoming
year.

The Lowell Raun family of El Campo provides this
scholarship in honor of Big Lowell who passed
away in 2001. Mr. Raun was a class of 1950
graduate in Business Administration, a big Aggie
fan,and a rice farmer in the El Campo area. Mrs.
Betty Raun and her children Lowell Jr. 76,Tim
