Advantages of Using Multiple Sheets

• Users can combine topical data into one workbook.
• Users can reference data from multiple sheets in
  a function or formula.
• Most importantly, data will not get lost as much.

• Determining the purpose - what inputs, what
  outputs, what printed reports
• Planning - plan it on paper first
• Building and testing - make sure it manipulates
  the data correctly
• Documenting - should include something within the
  worksheet itself (directions, name and date)

Integration in Excel 2000

• Integration in Excel is defined as the dynamic
  linking or embedding of data or charts to other
  applications.
• Integration is commonly termed OLE, or Object
  Linking and Embedding.
• In Excel 2000, OLE is easier to use and has fewer
  errors as in the past.

• OLE allows users to change data from the origin
  application. Once modified and saved, target
  applications will change dynamically with the
  origin.
• OLE will save time for data that changes over
  time for future projects.
