Metadata administration tool

• The RIGIS metadata administrator module is
  providing the following functionality
• Adding the graphical presentation (color, style,
  symbol etc.) for particular layer
• Adding minimum and maximum scale, priority as
  defined in WebMap
• Adding hotspots from attribute fields
• Could be added more then one graphical symbology
  per layer if layer needs to be displayed in
  different scales
• Grouping of layers in groups for legend display
  purposes (especially developed for RIGIS)
• Setting up the initial layer property closed
  or opened by default
• Setting up the layer group property collapsed
  or expanded by default

The dynamic of metadata updates from CDB

• The RIGIS CDB warehouse data structure consists
  of more than 1300 logical views (layers)
• The layer definitions in CDB are often changed
• The RIGIS web page publishing now around 100
  layers
• The simultaneous changes in CDB and in RIGIS web
  page are not always necessary

• Always is good to know what is changed in CDB !
• The metadata about all CDB-s 1300 logical views
  are regularly checked out with special software
  module and always available for metadata
  administrator

• Every RIGIS web page have its own config.asp file
  
• The config.asp is responsible about
• the attribute search capabilities (right column)
• the proportions of right column (some pages
  requires more space for search items) measured in
  percents of total page width
• the list of layers for graphic attribute
  retrieval and search in map window
• the usage of static overview maps in Smartstore
  format (not from CDB)
