Willing Able
2
2 Samuel 71 Now it came to pass when the king
was dwelling in his house, and the LORD had given
him rest from all his enemies all around, 2 that
the king said to Nathan the prophet, "See now, I
dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God
dwells inside tent curtains." 3 Then Nathan said
to the king, "Go, do all that is in your heart,
for the LORD is with you."
3
1 Chronicles 282 Then King David rose to his
feet and said, "Hear me, my brethren and my
people I had it in my heart to build a house of
rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and
for the footstool of our God, and had made
preparations to build it. 3 "But God said to me,
'You shall not build a house for My name, because
you have been a man of war and have shed blood.'
4
Exodus 31 Now Moses was tending the flock of
Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian.
And he led the flock to the back of the desert,
and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. 2 And
the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame
of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked,
and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but
the bush was not consumed. 3 Then Moses said, "I
will now turn aside and see this great sight, why
the bush does not burn." 4 So when the LORD saw
that he turned aside to look, God called to him
from the midst of the bush and said, "Moses,
Moses!" And he said, "Here I am."
5
5 Then He said, "Do not draw near this place.
Take your sandals off your feet, for the place
where you stand is holy ground." 6 Moreover He
said, "I am the God of your father -- the God of
Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob."
And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look
upon God. 7 And the LORD said "I have surely
seen the oppression of My people who are in
Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their
taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. 8 "So I
have come down to deliver them out of the hand of
the Egyptians, and to bring them up from
6
that land to a good and large land, to a land
flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the
Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and
the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites.
9 "Now therefore, behold, the cry of the
children of Israel has come to Me, and I have
also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians
oppress them. 10 "Come now, therefore, and I
will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My
people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt."
7
11 But Moses said to God, "Who am I that I should
go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the
children of Israel out of Egypt?" 12 So He said,
"I will certainly be with you. And this shall be
a sign to you that I have sent you When you have
brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve
God on this mountain."
8
Exodus 410 Then Moses said to the LORD, "O my
Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since
You have spoken to Your servant but I am slow of
speech and slow of tongue." 11 So the LORD said
to him, "Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes
the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind?
Have not I, the LORD? 12 "Now therefore, go, and
I will be with your mouth and teach you what you
shall say." 13 But he said, "O my Lord, please
send by the hand of whomever else You may send."
14 So the anger of the LORD was kindled against
Moses, and He said "Is not Aaron the Levite your
brother? I know that he can speak well. And look,
he is also coming out to meet you. When he sees
you, he will be glad in his heart.

Imagine how strong the church would be today if
every single Christian stopped making excuses for
what they are capable of doing. How about
you? Are you willing and able or are you making
excuses for why you cannot serve God with your
whole heart?

Genesis 221 Now it came to pass after these
things that God tested Abraham, and said to him,
"Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am." 2 Then He
said, "Take now your son, your only son Isaac,
whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and
offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the
mountains of which I shall tell you." 3 So
Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his
donkey, and took two of his young men with him,
and Isaac his son and he split the wood for the
burnt offering, and arose and went to the place
of which God had told him.
12
Genesis 226 So Abraham took the wood of the
burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son and
he took the fire in his hand, and a knife, and
the two of them went together. 7 But Isaac spoke
to Abraham his father and said, "My father!" And
he said, "Here I am, my son." Then he said,
"Look, the fire and the wood, but where is the
lamb for a burnt offering?" 8 And Abraham said,
"My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb
for a burnt offering." So the two of them went
together.
13
9 Then they came to the place of which God had
told him. And Abraham built an altar there and
placed the wood in order and he bound Isaac his
son and laid him on the altar, upon the wood. 10
And Abraham stretched out his hand and took the
knife to slay his son. 11 But the Angel of the
LORD called to him from heaven and said,
"Abraham, Abraham!" So he said, "Here I am." 12
And He said, "Do not lay your hand on the lad, or
do anything to him for now I know that you fear
God, since you have not withheld your son, your
only son, from Me."
14
Isaiah 68 Here am I! Send me."

2 Corinthians 81 Moreover, brethren, we make
known to you the grace of God bestowed on the
churches of Macedonia 2 that in a great trial
of affliction the abundance of their joy and
their deep poverty abounded in the riches of
their liberality. 3 For I bear witness that
according to their ability, yes, and beyond their
ability, they were freely willing, 4 imploring
us with much urgency that we would receive the
gift and the fellowship of the ministering to the
saints. 5 And not only as we had hoped, but they
first gave themselves to the Lord, and then to us
by the will of God.

Mark 143 And being in Bethany at the house of
Simon the leper, as He sat at the table, a woman
came having an alabaster flask of very costly oil
of spikenard. Then she broke the flask and poured
it on His head. 4 But there were some who were
indignant among themselves, and said, "Why was
this fragrant oil wasted? 5 "For it might have
been sold for more than three hundred denarii and
given to the poor." And they criticized her
sharply. 6 But Jesus said, "Let her alone. Why
do you trouble her? She has done a good work for
Me.
17
7 "For you have the poor with you always, and
whenever you wish you may do them good but Me
you do not have always. 8 "She has done what she
could. She has come beforehand to anoint My body
for burial. 9 "Assuredly, I say to you, wherever
this gospel is preached in the whole world, what
this woman has done will also be told as a
memorial to her."
