What is this all about?

• StarOffice was a free program available to all.
• To make a really long story really short,
  StarOffice is now OpenOffice.org
• We are using OpenOffice.org to save
• OpenOffice.org works in the same basic way as
  PowerPoint.

How is this different from PowerPoint?

• This functions the same way.
• The names of some of the functions are different.
  
• If you can do it with PowerPoint, you can do it
  with OpenOffice.org with very few exceptions.

How to Make a New Presentation

• Go to File choose New then choose
  Presentation
• Enter the name of your presentation and choose
  your layout.

How to Type on a New Presentation

• Go to Format choose Modify Layout
• Pick the layout that works best for you.
• Click OK

How to add graphics and animation.

• Go to Insert choose Graphics
• Pick your picture.
• Click OK

How to Add a New Slide

• Go to Insert choose Slide
• Pick your layout.
• Click OK

How to Print.

• Go to File choose Print
• Click OK
