Workplans/Timeframe

• Will vary by group the nature of some of this
  work is still developmental
• Individual members of the group will decide how
  to set a rough timeline
• Critical that ASPH have the coordinating role as
  well as the support role for getting staff work
  done for these exemplar groups
• Initial staff work/leadership grouping needs to
  be done in advance of the initial meetings
• A formal gathering of attendees at APHA may be a
  good idea
• Think in terms of annual needs as well as what
  long-term value may be
• Standards and criteria for how we can determine
  what is quality is critical to planning timelines
• Is there a necessity for something to come first?
• Start with an affirmation that baseline criteria
  will be met
• To be determined by each group, but we can learn
  from the first groups to get off the ground

• Which exemplar group(s) are critical and come
  first?
• Perhaps CDC and ASPH can get basic groundwork
  laid in the first quarter (through the end of
  this calendar year)
• Challenge lies in developing an understanding
  that not all groups will kick off simultaneously
• Will call for a center lead on each project, they
  and other Centers will keep things moving in
  conjunction with CDC and ASPH support
