Why FOCUS Degradation Kinetics ?

• Estimation of parameters for degradation kinetics
  (including formation of metabolites and
  water-sediment) in registration procedures not
  reproducible
• Example
• Notifier submitted scenario calculations with
  DT50 33 days
• registration authority did not agree, concluded
  DT50 43 days, so redo all scenario calculations
• Cause no agreed guidance, so start this workgroup
