  • The verbs hacer, poner, salir, suponer, and traer
    have yo forms that end in go.
  • The other forms are regular.
  • A veces salgo a correr por la noche.
  • Nunca salgo a correr, no hago ejercicio, pero
  • tengo energía... para leer el periódico y tomar
    un café!

  • Poner can also mean to turn on a household
    appliance.
  • Carlos pone la radio.
  • Carlos turns on the radio.

  • Salir de is used to indicate that someone is
    leaving a particular place.
  • Hoy salgo del hospital.
  • Today I leave the hospital.

    destination.
  • Mañana salgo para México.
  • Tomorrow I leave for Mexico.
  • Hoy salen para España.
  • Today they leave for Spain.

    something, or to date someone.
